As I sit here eating my cinnamon oats ( mmm ) , i'm looking back on the last 6 months of my marriage, and i'm so proud of how far we've come. the farm has truly become home for me, and i'm so grateful for it. this is where God has placed me, and i couldn't be more happy! this is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it :)
I mean, who wouldn't be happy sharing a bed with this guy !! And he's all mine, forever. and ever :)
I love our little farm adventures- discovering new critters, finding dams to swim in and grassy picnic spots, herding cows out of the garden and frequenting the various pubs in the area!
I couldn't be more proud of my crop! Here's the latest- cauliflower and broccoli. I absolutely cannot wait to buy my day olds and get cracking with layers! ( thats farm lingo for, i'm getting chickens. hehe! )
and the absolute highlight of my life at the moment- SUNFLOWERS !! i saw these beautiful things when i got back from cape town, and i nearly cried with joy ! love it. can you believe those things started from seeds. that i planted. IN the ground !!
